Welcome to the Lindsey Blog

Life with the Lindsey's has so far been in the fast lane. Not only did Andrew and I both finish college in 2006, but we were married, became pregnant with our honeymoon baby, purchased our first home and started new careers. We don't like to do anything slow. It hasn't been slow since then either. Now we have Emma Kate who is 2 1/2 as well as Macy who just turned 6 months. We are thrilled with the ride so far and look forward to what is in store. I am proud to say that I am a christian, mother, wife, nurse and this is my life.

Emma Kate

Emma Kate looks just like her mommy...bless her heart. She has the brightest outlook on life and she just flat out makes herself at home wherever she is. Sometimes thats good....and sometimes that's very rude! She has been potty training and it's been interesting. The other day we went in a consignment store to look around and she saw a potty for sale...I'll be darned if that little girl didn't drop her panties in the store and pee in that potty! She will be a very important woman someday. The world needs to look out for Emma Kate Lindsey.

Macy Lane

They say you never have two children alike. I truly believe that because Macy and Emma Kate are sisters but that's about it. Even though Macy is young, she is so much different. She can light up the room with her smile but at the same time ruin your day if she doesn't like you. I would say that she needs to follow her sisters foot steps but she is doing great making her own.

August 2010

It's been a while since my last post and things are infinitely changing. Emma Kate is starting the 3 year old program at Holy Trinity Lutheran School. We have been back to school shopping and getting things ready for Monday. I am so excited but sad at the same time. Emma Kate is extatic. This will give Macy and I some time to spend together like Emma Kate and I used to. It will be an adventure I am sure. Kelly's Kid's party next week too. Emma starts school, Kelly's kids party, Dentist appt, hair cuts....eyeyeye! I love it :)

Christmas 2009-I'm way behind :)

We had a lot of visiting and eating to do. Emma Kate and Macy loved opening gifts and seeing all the things Santa Claus brought. Macy actually wasn't sure about any of it. She has her qualms with everything in life. That's just her.
